Help Us Save The Polar Bears

Overharvesting
In the past, unregulated commercial and sport hunting posed the gravest threat to the polar bear’s future.
International regulations and careful management have eased that challenge, although vigilance is needed to make sure hunting remain sustainable as we head into a less stable future. Poaching in Russia and human-to-polar-bear interaction across the Arctic remain potential threats.
What can we do?
1. Use our cars less (walk or take public transport whenever possible)
2. Recycle, avoid products that have lots of packaging.
3.Turn off electric devices when you're not using them
These are all easy measures that can and will help reduce the amount of pollution we create every minute! And don't forget, when you get older you will have the opportunity to vote for politicians that support taking action to reduce global warming.
ABOUT US
In summer the polar bears live on land since there is no ice. They do not get much food in those months. Most polar bears also have kids around summer times. They use a lot of food and energy to keep everyone alive. And when the winter comes, they use the ice to hunt and move around. The polar bears rely on the ice to obtain their primary food source that is seals.
Without ice, almost all polar bears will either die of hungr or drown. It is very important that we address this issue while it is still time.
We are a small group from Norway who seems this is a big problem. The polar bears are amazing animals. And we can not let them die because of us.
